Last month, I showed y’all the teaser trailer for the oddly titled HARPOON: THE REYKJAVIK WHALE WATCHING MASSACRE, and now I’ve got the full-bodied version. Just check out the fishbilly badassery below!
HARPOON is an epic tale about a group of whale watchers, whose ship breaks down and they get picked up by a whale fisher vessel. The Fishbillies on the vessel has just gone bust, and everything goes out of control. It’s touted as a cross between the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE & THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, adding the droll humor of THE EVIL DEAD.
The flick takes place in Iceland, which has seemingly has more problems than it knows what to do with. This looks like a lot of fun though, but I’ll have to wait for it to get to U.S. shores first.
Starring Gunnar Hanson, Pihla Viitala, Nae and Terence Anderson, HARPOON: THE REYKJAVIK WHALE WATCHING MASSACRE hits DVD in the UK on MAY 10th via E1 Entertainment.
