The producers of new slasher pic PLASTERHEAD gave us the heads up that they’ve launched both an Official Site for the flick and a MySpace page. You can catch the great looking trailer at either spot. Here’s a quick synopsis:
The movie (a throwback to films like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) revolves around four college students on winter break who, lost in the bowels of West Virginia, run afoul of Plasterhead, a murderous local legend. Portions of the film were lensed at the Blairstown Diner in Blairstown, New Jersey, famous for being the diner in the original Friday the 13th.
I love the vibe of the trailer which looks like a solid, straight forward slasher treat. The flick will premiere at the Pioneer Theater in NYC on Sunday, October 1st for cast and crew only, and then will begin the big, bad search for distribution.
