Furlong had no Prayer

It’s a sad day when yet another CROW sequel becomes slated once again as a direct-to-video release. Dimension Films has officially made the decision to release THE CROW: WICKED PRAYER direct to DVD in 2005, alongside other direct-to-video sequels HELLRAISER: HELLWORLD and HELLRAISER: DEADER, says Variety.

Hard to believe WICKED PRAYER is as bad as it’s said to be, considering the cast, including Edward Furlong, Tara Reid, Dennis Hopper and Danny Trejo- but apparently it’s awful, and Dimensions decision to deliver it to us straight to DVD confirms the rumors.

Not that Eddy would have brought in the big bucks if released in the theater, but with a solid cast of stars, it surprises me that Dimension would do this. No word yet on exact release date, but expect WICKED, along with HELLWORD and DEADER hitting the DVD shelves sometime after the new year.
