Just got an e-mail from one of our readers (Thanks Jeff!) giving us the
knife’s up on a film that well… went over my head this year for some
reason but that looks
pretty damn cool! It’s an Aussie flick called
GABRIEL (Written and directed by Shane Abbess) and if I go
by the TRAILER (check it below), its a cross between
THE CROW,
UNDERWORLD and
my 2007 San Diego Comic Con experience.
Story is
about brooding arc angel Gabriel (Andy Whitfield) going buck wild on the forces of
evil on earth (poor
dude, he’s got a lot of work ahead of him). The flick has already hit the
screens in Australia on November 15 but no yap yet as to its domestic
release (I smell STD). Anyways, visit the
