Gal Gadot in talks to join Bradley Cooper for supernatural thriller Deeper

Ever since the release of Patty Jenkins WONDER WOMAN, Gal Gadot's star has been on the rise. With the confirmation of both women returning for WONDER WOMAN 2, many fans of the Israeli actress have been left pondering which film projects the Amazonian warrior princess will attach herself to next. Then, earlier today, it was reported that Gal Gadot is in early talks to join Bradley Cooper in the upcoming MGM supernatural thriller DEEPER.

Already attached to the project are WHITE GOD helmer Kornel Mundruczo, Max Landis (who penned the script and will also serve as a producer on the project), and David Goyer (who will also produce) with Addictive Pictures in tow. If the the film is given the green light, production could begin as early as the first quarter of 2018.

In regard to plot, the film follows a former astronaut (Cooper) hired to take a submersible to the deepest part of the ocean. As the vessel nears its intended destination, supernatural events begin to transpire. As of the moment, there is no word as to who Gadot would play in the film, should she decide to sign on the dotted line. Presumably, Gadot would participate in DEEPER before cameras start rolling on WONDER WOMAN 2, the sequel to one of the most successful female-led films ever made.

In the meantime, you can catch Gal when she reprises her role as Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon's JUSTICE LEAGUE, which is set to arrive in theaters beginning on November 17th
