Gal Gadot had her own experience with Joss Whedon on the Justice League set

Earlier this year, Justice League star Ray Fisher spoke out to allege that production on the Justice League reshoots had been rife with misconduct and specifically singled out director Joss Whedon as well as producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. It's still not clear exactly what went on, but WarnerMedia recently announced that their "investigation into the ‘Justice League’ movie has concluded and remedial action has been taken," but it turns out that Ray Fisher wasn't the only one to have issues with Whedon on the set.

While speaking with The LA Times, Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot revealed that she had her own "experience" with Joss Whedon on the set of Justice League. "I’m happy for Ray to go out and speak his truth," Gadot said. "I wasn’t there with the guys when they shot with Joss Whedon — I had my own experience with [him], which wasn’t the best one, but I took care of it there and when it happened. I took it to the higher-ups and they took care of it. But I’m happy for Ray to go up and say his truth." Gadot also confirmed to Variety that she had given testimony for WarnerMedia's investigation into the alleged misconduct, saying that she knows "that they've done a very thorough investigation, even just by how much time I spent with them." As far as what the remedial action will be, Gadot hasn't been told anything.

I don’t know what that means either. I’m curious to know what’s going to be the outcome.

Joss Whedon did recently step down from his upcoming HBO series The Nevers, and The Wrap reported yesterday that Pippa Smith: Grown-Up Detective, which Whedon was executive producing for Freeform, has been scrapped. I'd imagine that we'll be hearing more about this over the coming months. Gal Gadot will next be seen in Wonder Woman 1984, which will debut in theaters and on HBO Max on December 25th.
