While we still have little to go on regarding any plot or casting beyond Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot in BATMAN VS SUPERMAN, we can begin to put some pieces together as information makes its way out. With almost two years before BATMAN VS SUPERMAN hits theaters, there is going to be a lot of conjecture and rumor until official word comes from the cast, crew, or studio.

So, with that in mind, we can go ahead and take Gal Gadot‘s recent comments regarding her contract to play Wonder Woman as fact and draw conclusions from there. According to Batman News, Gadot revealed in an interview that her Wonder Woman contract is for three movies. While that isn’t anything too shocking, the actress also revealed she will be paid $300,000 for her role in BATMAN VS SUPERMAN.

While Gadot is still an unproven commodity in the role so I understand hedging their bets, but even Jeremy Renner‘s small role as Hawkeye in THE AVENGERS earned him over a million. I would think the low pay is more indicative of the smaller size of her role in BATMAN VS SUPERMAN rather than her worth. As we have all been cautious and nervous with superhero films overloading their rosters of talent, WB and DC could very well be just setting the chess board before going all out. If this proves true remains to be seen.

BATMAN VS SUPERMAN hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
