“Game of Thrones” director Brian Kirk taps Midnight Delivery for Guillermo del Toro

Now on the exterior this upcoming project doesn’t seem like it’s very genre friendly… but when you throw in the fact that not only is it produced by the great Guillermo del Toro, but apparently he came up with the idea for the flick too… Well then we pretty much have to take notice!

The project in question is a thriller coming our way called MIDNIGHT DELIVERY and according to Variety Universal have just tapped “Game of Thrones” director Brian Kirk with the task of helming this one.

Penned by Neil Cross, based on an idea by del Toro (right), MIDNIGHT DELIVERY’s rundown reads a little something like this:

Pic follows a father who becomes a drug mule to save his son’s life.

Now this one could really go either way. Production on MIDNIGHT DELIVERY is set to kick off sometime next year, as soon as Cross is finished with his latest draft. Once more news on this shite comes our way we’ll fully decide if it’s got any place here at AITH.
