Game of Thrones featurette focuses on the music of the show

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

No one’s more excited to see more GAME OF THRONES than me (mainly because I have a deadpool going, and am hopelessly addicted to gambling). But, either way, I can’t wait. And I know I’m not the only one.

Regardless, with the season premiere almost upon us, HBO has released yet another featurette to whet our appetites. This one, however, focuses on the music of Ramin Djawadi, creator of one of the most ear-catching themes in recent memory. Damn him! Anyway, you can watch the feature in the link below:

Not really any new footage or anything, but I always get a kick out of behind-the-scenes stuff. For instance, I was personally fascinated that it took six seasons to finally have a piano introduced to the score, or the fact that they were conscious of not having too many themes at the beginning, and sprinkling them throughout the series. But that could just be me.

Meanwhile, Winter finally comes to Westeros on HBO July 16th, 2017.
