WAY back in November we told you about our set visit to the Gerard Butler starring GAME. Well that was the last we heard about it. Finally we’ve got something else from the flick. Within the past few days there’s been a still making the rounds on the net starring one Gerard Butler.
It’s from GAME and it’s nothing exciting… at least I don’t think it is. All I can make out is Gerard Butler taking some sort of dive with debris and/or something all around him. And it’s purple. I really don’t know what to say about the still. Mind you, it’s not horrible… it’s definitely got me intrigued, so I suppose it’s done it’s job.
GAME is set in a future-world where humans can control other humans in mass-scale, multi-player online gaming environments. A star player from a game called “Slayers” looks to regain his independence while taking down the game’s mastermind.
That’s the rundown. It sort of sounds like SPY KIDS 3-D meets EXISTENZ? God I hope not. GAME comes from writer/directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. It stars Butler, John Leguizamo, Milo Ventimiglia, Michael C. Hall, Amber Valletta (below), Alison Lohman, Zoe Bell, Terry Crews, Kyra Sedgwick, and Aaron Yoo. That is SOME cast. So maybe this one might be something to check out after all?
Unfortunately there’s no official word on a release date, so hopefully we’ll get news on that soon.
