Gary Busey dives into John Gulager’s Piranha 3DD

Jake revealed you the other day that the cast of PIRANHA 3DD includes Danielle Panabaker (below), Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, David Koechner, Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez and Clu Gulager.

Another name has been hooked for the project: Gary f’n Busey! The legendary actor/crazyman has joined the cast down in Wilmington, NC where the picture is currently in production.

The sequel continues down the path of “ridiculous” as the piranha this time make their way into swimming pools, pipes, plumbing and such at a newly opened water park named Wilderness Waters! The race is on to save the town from these flesh-eating creatures that are leaving a bloodbath in their wake.

The sequel to Alexandre Aja’s PIRANHA is directed by John Gulager and written by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, the trio behind the FEAST trilogy. Joel Soisson (DRACULA 2000) was brought on board for re-writes. The flick is scheduled to sink its teeth into theaters on November 23 from The Weinstein Company.
