It seems that the success and old-school horror style of HATCHET has spawned a blood-soaked brother! Take a stab at the vintage slasher plot: A group of high-school friends head to an island for one last get-together before going away to college. Unfortunately for them, a serial killer known as “The Butcher” has escaped from Death Row and is hiding out on the same island, and doesn’t feel like sharing the place with the teens. Let the battle for survival begin!

Writer/director, Shaun O’Rourke says, “BUTCHERED was shot with the classics I grew up with in mind, like the original FRIDAY THE 13TH and HALLOWEEN.” Hopefully we’ll all soon get the chance to see if this flick is indeed seasoned with the likes of Jason and Michael. BUTCHERED is currently in post-production and stars Melissa Lukon, Tim Woodward Jr., Robert Covington, Kristina Sipes-Martinez, Kit Johnson, Jaime Moffett, Brent Lovell, Cory Alexander Broadwater and Cari Moskow (below), and D.J. Naylor as “The Butcher” himself.
