Get out of here 2004!

At every end of the year I try to share some
stuff about my life with you guys and dolls that goes deeper than crack whore jokes and
body-counts. Today is that time of the year again!

Now there must have been something in the air cause everybody I know agreed
on one thing: 2004 WAS A TOUGH F*CKING YEAR. Personally; this was yet
another 12 month battle where I ridiculously busted my hump to make
things happen in terms of my cinematic goals outside the site.

Now that I’m at
the end of the year; I’m closer yes, but nothing is 100%… yet (I’ll buy it when I hear action and the check clears). Having said that;
although none of my roosters came home to roost; my ducks are definitely lined
up for 2005 and it’s looking good. We’ll see what happens. One thing’s for sure; I’ll keep working my ass
off until I accomplish what I set out to do. When I have something fully
locked; I’ll let you know. Till then here are…

ARROW’ TOP 6 POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES
MOMENTS OF 2004.

POSITIVE MOMENTS

Arrow in Jackson Hole Wyoming; life made sense.

.Experiencing a
Road Trip from Montreal Canada to Jackson
Hole Wyoming to attend
a great man’s wedding (you know who you are bro). The trip was a blast where I got to see the US under a
whole new different light. The wedding itself was beyond amazing with wonderful
people, ample booze and gorgeous scenery wooing the hell out of me (the Tetons baby). That trip was the
highlight of my year! Thanks to Elaine, Eric and my VISA for making it happen!

.
Getting to pay my respects at James Dean’s
Grave
in Fairmount Indiana which was something I had been yearning to do for 6
years. It felt great to finally do it!

.
Going White Water Rafting in the jaw
dropping Rockies with good peeps in tow. I actually jumped off the boat into the freezing water
at one point to let the river take me down for a while. Now that was something!
Man I love nature.

What a ride this was!

.
Getting to visit Manhattan, New York again with a close friend; I love
that damn City and the company I kept was Aces!

.Meeting Vin “The Man”
Diesel
where I’m a big fan of his! It felt groovy to be star struck again.
That hadn’t happened to me in like 3 years!

.Attending one
Bad Ass Rave with my good buddy Deko! After
all of the non-stop slaving I did all year, it felt great to FINALLY unwind!

NEGATIVE MOMENTS

Berge (JoBlo) and an a-hole

.
Seeing my best bud JoBlo (Berge Garabedian)
get sick. The dude so doesn’t deserve to go through the ordeal he’s
going through. Then again who does?
I’m praying for you man! You’ll beat this or I’ll kick the shit out of
you!

.
Man, the whole Struggling Artist, chasing paychecks and
getting low balled thing got older than old this year! Can maximum work mean maximum money already!

.
The Film Industry in Montreal has nosed dived into the
abyss of NOTHING’S GOING ON. How am I supposed to make a living? I’m
like a lumberjack in the desert. There’s no freaking wood over here!

That “arrow” is upside down; MTL is going down!

.
A Montreal Union getting in
the way of a film project I’m working on by halting our shoot for B$ reasons.
Sure the issue is now resolved (or is it) but man; we lost so much time! Thanks
for supporting local talent guys! Specially since there’s no work in town
and we’re trying to create some. SHEESH!

.
The Prod Companies that strung me along with false
promises. I know its part of the game; but that doesn’t mean I have to like
it. So much time and energy wasted.

.I was hit by two “Burn
Outs”
this year! The non-stop work finally got to me and it took me (and still
takes me) longer than usual to recuperate. I
have to chill out more in 2005…yeah right!

—————————-

I’m sure you’ve all had
your own downs in 2004 and I wish you all the best for 2005. I’d like to end
off with a big shout-out to YOU our readers for sticking around these parts and the support
you constantly convey via positive e-mails & all . It is always, much appreciated. And here’s another shout-out to the
people in my life who backed me up this year
by being there for me and never forgetting to bring the JD when I needed to cut
that edge. You can’t go wrong with true friends. I wouldn’t have survived the
year without them.

I’m done.

You still here? Don’t you have booze to purchase for midnight
tonight? IT’S PARTY
TIME!

HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL!
Wear your rubbers and don’t drink and drive!
