Get your first look at DC’s Main Man, Lobo, for Krypton Season 2

As an alarming amount of comic book entertainment news continues to spill forth, thanks in-part to this week's New York City Comic Con celebration, Syfy has today revealed a first look at DC's Main Man, Lobo, for the upcoming sophomore season of KRYPTON. Set to swing chains, spit bullets, and behave like a freight train out of Hell as the intergalactic bounty hunter is IN THE FLESH and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY actor Emmett J. Scanlan. As the lone survivor of the planet Czarnia – because he slaughtered every remaining member of his own kind – Lobo is a master strategist embued with the powers of super strength and immortality. As one of the most formidable characters in the DC pantheon, the crude space biker blazes through the cosmos looking for his next kill. As it would happen, next on Lobo's list of unfortunates in Seg-El, otherwsie known as Superman's grandfather.

Lobo was created by in 1984 by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen and made his first appearance in the pages of Omega Men #3 (1983). Throughout his storied career as a contract killer, the Main Man has gone toe-to-toe with some of DC's boldest and bravest characters, including Superman, Hal Jordan, Martian Manhunter, and Deathstroke.

While KRYPTON Season 2 has yet to receive an official release date, we know that the series will continue Seg-El's (Cameron Cuffe) mission of saving his planet from total destruction, while simultaneously securing his grandson's bright and bold future.
