The flick’s called BURST, and it goes a little something like this: An isolated town endures an alien invasion that causes victims to spontaneously combust during a severe snowstorm.
How can you go wrong with that? Glad to see Ghost House steering away from the likes of J-horror remakes (THE GRUDGE) and crappy PG-13 scarefests (BOOGEYMAN), and into something a little more hardcore, a little more meaty to sink their teeth in. And a movie featuring people who spontaneously combust generally equals a welcomed R rating… can’t complain about that!
Seriously though, this project sounds like the mother of all projects in my eyes, as the premise they’re rockin’ sounds just too good to be true.
