One of the buzzed about films at this year’s Sundance Film Festival was the surreal mind bender COLD SOULS, in which Paul Giamatti plays an actor, surprisingly also named Paul Giamatti, who wants to put part of his soul in cold storage as he thinks this will help him with a new role. The folks at “Cinematical” recently landed the first, right-pictured exceptionally cool but trippy as fuck poster for the flick. There’s clearly some sort of meaning in that Russian Doll imagery of Giamatti’s face but it’s probably somewhat open to interpretation so have at it in the strike backs! And if you’re in the mood to be mind-fucked, look out for the flick when it gets a limited theatrical release on August 7th. Click on any of Giamatti’s faces for the full, soul-sized poster.
