Here’s what Guillermo del Toro (HELLBOY) had to say about his nomination: “Hellboy for the Golden Schmoes!!! 5 NOMS!!! Yipee!!! I have an erection — finally!”
And Edgar Wright (SHAUN OF THE DEAD): “To you and the whole JoBlo massive. These nominations are awesome news. Even if we got an Oscar nomination for best use of Queen in a zombie / poolcue interface, it couldn’t beat the sheer elation of these 5 nods.
And James Wan (SAW): “This is really, really awesome. I was aware of JoBlo’s Movie Awards, but I didn’t think that SAW would be nominated for any of those categories. I’m really honoured to know that the film-fans have put SAW up for these nominations. Thanks a bunch guys! ”
So as you can see, only the coolest of the cool, and the tightest of the tight, get their chance to shine as a Golden Schmoe!
