Godzilla, is that you?

If you guys will recall, back in late March, it was announced that Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures would be bringing back everybody’s favorite giant radioactive lizard to the big screen in a brand new reinvention/reboot of GODZILLA, currently slated for a 2012 release. My opinion: Why not? I love Godzilla and Roland Emmerich’s version was a piece of shit. This couldn’t be any worse right?

Well, if these supposed design concepts of Godzilla are, in fact, real design concepts that are being considered (and not just random sculpts by some savvy artist that knows how to garner exposure for his work), then I suppose they’re headed in the right direction.

The images you see here were originally posted on Flickr back in January by user “WoGzilla☢ゴジラ” who captioned one of the photos with the following:

“I was told by a good friend in the movie biz. that this was one of the design’s they were considering for the new 3D Godzila….!”

Bullshit? Authentic? Who knows?!
