Goetz Gets Role

Hey kids – looks like everyone’s favorite Subway vigilante, Bernie Goetz, is going to have a role in the upcoming independent project SILVER NIGHT. His part has him playing, and you know I could not make this up, a vampire nutritionist. Apparently he also gets to shoot guns. That’s good. With amateur actors you need to give them something in the environment they can relate to.

But is Goetz a true amateur. No my friends he is not. He appeared in EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE, courtesy of Glenn Andreiev, producer/screenwriter for both films. I can definitely see why. For instance, Goetz taught the cast of SILVER NIGHT how to fire their weapons…uh, point-shoot…and also complained that his gun was too small. Though in fairness, that’s a pretty common complaint amongst middle aged men.

Anyway, it’s good to know that horror and John Waters films are unashamedly keeping some of our favorite weirdos from the past in the public eye. Kinda makes me want to give somebody a hug, and in Goetz’s case, duck.
