Well we finally have a name for the flick and we can stop calling it the Untitled Project. I was beginning to think that would become the official title ala CLOVERFIELD. Heck, I’d probably still see it.. actually I like Untitled Project better than what Platinum Dunes is going with now. According to B-D the new title is THE UNBORN.
Alright.. I dig David Goyer (above), Gary Oldman, and Odette Yustman (below), I dig them all a lot, but that name is just not an attention grabber. Let’s hope they put something great together that throws the title right out the window.
THE UNBORN is about a 19-year-old girl who is haunted by a dybbuk, the soul of a dead person barred from heaven, in the form of a young boy who perished in Auschwitz.
Goyer is writing and directing with Yustman, Oldman, and Cam Gigandet all set to star. Production is set to start this March in Chicago. As always, we’ll keep you updated.
