Green/Solet in Jack Chop

Oh my! For anyone in serious need of a few well earned laughs in this morbidly macabre week leading up to Halloween, we have just the recipe. Courtesy of writer/directors Paul Solet (GRACE) and Adam Green (HATCHET), we have an awesome, hyper-gory, funny-as-hell mock-infomercial that somewhat parodies that idiotic Sham-Wow template.

The just-shy of 3 minute clip was set up over at Ariescope Pictures, Green’s production company. Green directs the clip, Solet, spitting a wicked-pissa Boston accent, plays the lone psychotic in front of the camera. Others involved in the production include: Will Barratt, Jason Miller, Robert Pendergraft, and Andy Garfield.

And when they’re not cutting their teeth (among other things) on hilarious gore sodden skits, Solet currently has a project called BHS in development, while Green is putting the finishing touches on his new snow-capped thriller FROZEN.

I think my favorite part of the skit is when, after being plugged in the chest via pumpkin-stand, Solet (as Niccolo) looks deadpan into the camera and says “but you gotta watch out, ‘cause some pumpkins are queeah!”

Ah, too good!

Get ready to laugh at the clip below!
