Grind Rumors

This could be true, this could be false, this could be horseshit, but at this point, it’s all heresay: according to tarantino.info, GRIND HOUSE has shut down production! What? Why? How come? All sorts of answers, and not one single blurb from directors Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino.

So who’s the source? Someone on the crew had this to say about what’s going down on set: “I hate to say that the rumors are true… There were days when we had 7 setups to shoot, but we usually would only get to shoot half of what was slated for the day. The word out is that Tarantino will probably be shooting his segment very soon, and we can get back to finish PT (PROJECT TERROR) as soon as DP (DEATH PROOF) is done, and Rodriguez can get his shit together.

The scooper also says that Rodriguez has gone ‘over budget’ already, which could be the real reason. And to that, I say… overbudget? Already? You guys just barely started shooting the damn thing! What’s up with that?!?

But is this really that big of deal? I mean, really? I’m sure this type of shit happens all the time on productions, we just don’t get to hear about them that much. Does it mean the project’s doomed? Hell no. Just means a tiny detour in the road. As long as they stick to the release schedule, I’m a happy camper.
