Over at AICN they’ve snagged some of the first pics of Kurt Russell in character on the set of GRIND HOUSE. He’s looking badass as always and you can check out the whole set by clicking on the tease up top.
In less outstanding GR news, Australia’s The Daily Telegraph posted an interview with John Jarratt, from Woman’s Day of all places, indicating that Quentin Tarantino pretty much screwed him in regards to the flick.
[A]fter being told he was wanted for the flick, Wolf Creek star Jarratt never heard a word back.
“My wife Cody was excited. We’d got the passport thing sorted out and we were all ready to set off for the States with our two kids, just waiting for a start date, so it was a real kick in the guts when nothing happened,” he told Woman’s Day.
“I’m really bewildered. God knows, Quentin might ring up next week and say he’s ready to start, ‘Get over here’. And I might do it but I might not. I kind of wish he’d left me alone and it had never happened.”
Who knows what all went down behind the scenes, but I gotta say that after watching WOLF CREEK, I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be the guy that gets on Jarratt’s bad side.
