Even though GRINDHOUSE was a box-office failure, I’d still like to think that the vast majority of you schmoes really dug the flick, because you and me, we’re from the street. And we embrace creativity. And hot chicks. Or whatever. Anyway, just to add some fuel to the gossip fire, Bloody Disgusting caught up with the infamous Babysitter Twins (Electra and Elise Avellan), who spilled a couple of beans about the sequel:
“Robert [Rodriguez] said he’d do it [Machete] and asked for us to be in it… Robert wants to do GRINDHOUSE 2 with [the two films being] “Machete” and “The Babysitter Twins… Robert mentioned something about the end of the world and Hollywood action films, where we’d be trained in Mexico to come back here and fight… Hollywood starts fucking with us so we start killing… we [would] kill Harvey Weinstein in the movie, although that’s just talk now right,”
Well, what do you guys make of that? I’m not crazy about the Babysitter Twins, but I’d certainly like to see what they’re talking about, more than I would Eli Roth’s TRAILER TRASH idea. Thoughts?
