As much as I loved the fake trailers for Tarantino & Rodriguez’s GRINDHOUSE, looking at this thing down there kinda makes me feel that’s exactly what they should’ve done – take well-known movies and turn them into gritty 70s-ploitation B films.
So someone used Aronofsky’s acclaim-showered THE WRESTLER and re-imagined it as a crazed-psycho-killer tale that would’ve convinced me had I not known what the actual film is. Almost as great as the SHINING comedy trailer.
