Well here we are seven months later and we’ve finally got some more news regarding OPEN HOUSE! You see, a press release found it’s way into our inbox today informing the world that Grindhouse Entertainment Group has just snatched distribution rights for OPEN HOUSE here in the US! And, according to the press release, OPEN HOUSE already has an August release date pegged! Nice!
Alice’s open house event draws unforeseen interest from a pair of sociopathic house hunters. Hidden away in her own home, Alice becomes privy to the perverse relationship between her captors. She realizes that David has kept her existence a secret and finds herself involved in a dangerous love triangle where two of the parties just happen to be co-dependent sociopaths.
Rachel Blanchard stars in the film as ‘Alice’ with Brian Geraghty and Tricia Helfer (below) starring as the house hunters. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer also star. Having made it’s world premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, OPEN HOUSE will also be screening at Cannes today, with international rights for the flick still up for grabs.
