If Mark L. Lester can bring any of the mid-80s magic we saw in flicks like COMMANDO and ARMED AND DANGEROUS, you can no doubt count me in on his new film entitled GROUPIE.
Starring Taryn Manning, Hal Ozsan, Eric Roberts, Betsy Rue, Mitch Ryan and Maja Miletich – GROUPIE is an out and out thriller whose story commences: When a mysterious groupie joins legendary cursed band, “The Dark Knights”, and a series of unexplained murders derails their comeback tour.

And when you add Roberts’ nerdy-ass Peter Parker specs, the sleeveless death-metal shirts, the bass player’s greasy mullet, the hot sirens in the background and the overall unabashed 80s look the poster depicts, my interest is piqued five-fold. How about you?
Rounding out the hottie-filled cast is Tia Barr, Cherilyn Wilson, Nicole Moore, Bevin Prince, Caia Coley, Dita De Leon, and Gwendolyn Edwards.
