Guillermo del Toro toys with us yet again with teases of Hellboy III

You want HELLBOY III, I want HELLBOY III, Ron Perlman wants HELLBOY III and Guillermo del Toro wants HELLBOY III, but at a certain point, it's just not fair to keep teasing us with the possibility that HELLBOY III may actually happen. A third HELLBOY movie has been discussed ever since HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY was released back in 2008, but it rarely seemed that the project had enough steam to get off the ground. In fact, less than a year ago, del Toro himself said that "Hellboy 3 is a wish that will never be fulfilled." That seemed to drive the final nail in HELLBOY's coffin, but Guillermo del Toro isn't quite done playing with our hearts. Damn you!

Earlier today Guillermo del Toro set up a Twitter poll asking fans to choose between "yes" and "hell yes" in regards to HELLBOY III. At the time of this posting there's still a fair ways to go until we reach 100,000, but it's a possibility we can't pass up. Let's show Guillermo del Toro that we want this! Will this get the ball rolling on a third HELLBOY film? Who knows, but stranger things have certainly happened. As for del Toro's non-HELLBOY projects, he recently wrapped production on THE SHAPE OF WATER, a 1963 Cold War drama/thriller starring Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, Octavia Spencer and Doug Jones.
