Gunn talks future

Today, Johnny Butane at Dread Central posted a little sample from their chat last night with SLITHER director James Gunn, in which Gunn dropped a little hint at what he’s working on next.

The film’s working title is SCRATCH, and no, it has nothing to do with rabid cats or an infection running rampant. Rather, it deals with evil itself, Satan. “The only thing that scares me more than zombies is Satan. I’m trying to come at it from a different approach. It’s pretty dark, and it’s f**king with my head a little actually.” Any time a director uses expletives in describing their film, it’s an instant looker in my book (regardless of whether the expletives are meant to be positive or not).

Plus, Gunn said himself that he’s going a different way about it rather than following the template that studios are using to death, nowadays. Do yourself a favour and check out SLITHER tomorrow and get psyched for more from Gunn.
