Haig goes to Hell

Remember when DRAG ME TO HELL was coming out and every story was about so-and-so going to hell. Well, get ready for more of the same, as there’s a new movie called GO STRAIGHT TO HELL in the works, which means a whole new set of people will essentially be going to hell!

Thanks to Dread Central we’ve learned that the great Sid Haig, Captain Spaulding himself, has landed a role in Edward G. Norris’ GO STRAIGHT TO HELL, an anthology of four tales involving four souls trapped in Purgatory. Newly deceased, they have been gathered there to relive their greatest sin – shown to them by an unearthly guide – which they have failed to repent, hoping to be cleansed of this sin so that they may enter Heaven.

Sounds fun, and also sounds like the perfect kind of movie for the great Sid Haig to be a part of. He joins the already stellar cast that includes Traci Lords (below), Amanda Plummer, Courtney Gains, Karen Black, and James DeBello. Damn yo, this project keeps sounding better and better by the minute!

With production slated to start later this fall, expect more goodies from GO STRAIGHT TO HELL in the upcoming weeks ahead!
