SUCKER PUNCH just got somethin’ for the ladies. What was previously an exclusively female cast just got it’s first swingin’ dick with the addition of cartoon pilot-lookin’ Jon Hamm. Hamm, I’m sure you know, is the dapper bastard from AMC’s “Mad Men”. He was also recently in the remake of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL.
Hamm joins Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and Carla Gugino in Zack Snyder’s action-fantasy about a girl (Browning) confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. She and her friends enter an alternate reality where they begin planning an escape.
Hamm will play a character known as “High Roller”; that’s all that is known about him thus far… SUCKER PUNCH will hit theaters March 25 2011. (At one time, it was supposed to come out in October of next year.)
