Hauer in Hitcher redux

Variety has reported today that the Hitcher himself, Rutger Hauer, will appear in the Platinum Dunes/ Focus Features ass rape of the original classic THE HITCHER.


I don’t know why I’m so negative on this remake… oh wait, that’s right- there is no need to remake it! That’s why it pisses me off so much!

I really don’t know what to make of the fact that Hauer will have a cameo role in it. I mean, on one hand, it’d be ridiculous if he didn’t have a role in it, on the other hand, it’s a remake of THE HITCHER! Bugh!
