I hope everyone in Winnipeg has got their Atlanta Braves jerseys ready, because it would seem as though the city is about to substitute for Georgia.
In an article over at the Winnipeg Free Press, it’s revealed that THE HAUNTING IN GEORGIA – a follow-up of sorts to THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT – has gotten the greenlight and is scheduled to shoot there this summer. Ti West (as he told us on our podcast) has been attached to the project but is also currently involved with THE INNKEEPERS, which could take precedence over GEORGIA. Another director may be in the offing, but we won’t know for sure until some kind of formal announcement is made.
The article mentions that ATM (which we wrote about HERE) and THE FALLOUT (which we wrote about HERE) are also shooting in Winnipeg soon.
Here’s what the supposedly true tale of THE HAUNTING IN GEORGIA is about: A Haunting in Georgia is the chilling story of four-year-old Heidi and her imaginary friends Mr. Gordy and Con. As Heidi reveals mysterious details about the two, her parents become concerned…could her playmates be more than make-believe? When the rest of the family begins experiencing terrifying phenomena–waking with deep gashes on their bodies–it seems there’s little they can do to stop the escalating nightmare.
