We’ve been reading about Dick Maas’ twisted holiday treat SAINT (or SINT) for over a year now – ever since it broke records in its native Holland last November, to be precise. The nasty flick, about a decidedly unjolly Santa Clause, received a Video On Demand release via IFC, but it’s now going to get its largest exposure here in the states yet later this month. On Christmas Day!
FEARnet will be airing SAINT twice on December 25th, at 10a.m. ET and 6p.m. ET. So gather your family around you, get comfy, and watch this Dutch Santa-demon slip some murder under the tree!
The Christmas unveiling is actually pretty sweet, considering the flick will be hitting DVD here in the states only five days beforehand. (In its dumb only-for-the-states title, SAINT NICK.) If you don’t have FEARnet, you can pre-order the movie right HERE.
The synopsis: In Holland, St. Nick’s birthday usually means good children get toys and candy. But if the night has a full moon, St. Nick becomes a bloodthirsty killer who butchers children and adults.
