Updated: Hear Godzilla roar in this soundbite from the upcoming film!

UPDATE: Below, we've added the trailer tease for tomorrow's new trailer debut, which features a different kind of roar; the roar of Heisenberg himself, Bryan Cranston!

Probably the most renowned monster roar of all time is the GODZILLA roar. It's unmistakable, distinct, and eerily cool. With the upcoming new iteration of the world famous kaiju mere months away, you can anticipate an upswing in marketing goodies to start flooding in and today we have a pretty cool one that you can play over and over again to your heart's content; the new GODZILLA roar, which is a 20-second long yawp that has been known to rattle buildings, shatter glass, and warn of impending monstrous doom. Hey, if nothing else, some of you may have found your new ringtone.

Anticipation is high for the new film from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, especially after the less than stellar version from 1998. Director Gareth Edwards (MONSTERS) seems to have the pulse of the franchise, though, and after years of hyping the flick, we're all ready to see this giant lizard wreak some havoc.

GODZILLA, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, David Strathairn, Juliette Binoche, and Ken Watanabe stomps into theaters on May 16, 2014.
