It wasn’t too
long ago that we heard Christian Slater and Winona Ryder were looking to revamp their careers and bust out an unnecessary sequel to their 1989 classic high school revenge movie HEATHERS. Today they’re talking about it again, and it looks like that it might actually happen.

JoBlo pointed us in the direction of
Entertainment Weekly magazine, where Ryder had this to say about this so-called HEATHERS 2: “I don’t know how much is official; it’s a ways away. But it takes place in Washington and Christian Slater agreed to come back and make an Obi-Wan-type appearance. It’s very funny.”
I guess I can’t imagine Slater being an Obi-Wan type guy in
any scenario, let alone having him/it be very funny, or even just plain ol’ funny. But the possibility of a HEATHERS 2 is definitely cool and I’d be lying to you if I wasn’t at least
somewhat interested in checking it out. And as it’s ‘a ways away’, maybe the idea will start looking better down the road. Stick around, as we’ll keep you updated on more news and updates regarding HEATHERS 2 as we hear it!
