Starring Viggo Mortensen, Robert Duvall, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, and Kodi Smit McPhee, the flick is gearing up to be one to look out for this fall when it goes head to head with that p.o.s. vampire romance TWILIGHT this November.
Based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy, THE ROAD centers on a father and son who navigate a countryside devastated by an unnamed catastrophe.
Any movie starring a scruffy (aka badass) Moretensen sounds like a fun movie to me, and these new images prove that this flick will be one to reckon with. Gritty, desolate, depressing… everything you’d want in a post-apocalyptic movie of grand proportions.
