Just yesterday I mentioned my anticipation for next year’s HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY — if only to see what kind of magic director Guillermo del Toro has up his prodigious sleeve this time. Now IGN has some fresh snaps from the flick, with a look at the cast in field gear.
That Mysterio-looking cat on the left is Johann, a psychic who’s basically a sentient cloud in a self-contained suit (he’ll be voiced by actor Thomas Kretschmann in the finished film). Here’s also our first good look at love interest/flamethrower Liz Sherman, who seems more butchy since her last adventure. Or maybe she just discovered a renewed appreciation for Joan Jett.
