Penelope Mitchell, who may be most recognizable to genre fans as Letha Godfrey from the Netflix Original Series "Hemlock Grove", has just signed on for Chris Fitchett’s supernatural horror film THE FEAR OF DARKNESS, according to Deadline.
Darkness centers on a brilliant young psychiatrist who, while investigating the supernatural disappearance of a university student (Mitchell), is forced to confront the dark creature that dwells deep within her own unconscious.

Mitchell recently wrapped the Bret Easton Ellis-scripted THE CURSE OF DOWNERS GROVE and Blumhouse's CURVE.
Shooting on THE FEAR OF DARKNESS is scheduled to begin next month on the Gold Coast.
