Lance Henriksen is one of my favorite actors. The man never learned to read or write until he was thirty, yet he’s talented out the wazoo in more ways than one.
Case in point: our buddies at Sideshow Collectibles have struck a deal with Lance (who’s quite the artist) to sell some of his work based on ALIEN VS PREDATOR: ceramic tiles. Okay, that sounds corny, but one look at these puppies and you’ll forget that attitude. These square foot tiles depict hieroglyphic-style reliefs of the Facehugger, Queen Alien and Scar Predator (not on the same tile, mind you). Each tile can either be an artist proof or have a gold, silver or pearl white finish. Obviously, the proofs are the lowest in number, so they’re going fast. Other finishes are limited to 250 each.
Each plate is constructed of solid ceramic, measuring 12″ x 12″ x .50″ in dimension, and ncludes a numbered certificate of authenticity with signature, plus the back of each plate includes an etched signature from Mr. Henriksen himself.
