The lovely Alice Eve – fresh off a profile raising stint on “Entourage’s” final season – has been photographed for the first time in James McTeigue’s upcoming period-thriller THE RAVEN. As a native Brit, I doubt the sexy bird has any qualms busting out of that dainty Victorian corset. And that I appreciate!
Bowing March 9, 2012 – THE RAVEN is a gritty thriller in which Edgar Allan Poe joins forces with a young Baltimore detective to hunt down a mad serial killer who’s using Poe’s own works as the basis in a string of brutal murders.
John Cusack plays Poe, culling support from Luke Evans, Brendan Gleeson, Dave Legeno, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Pam Ferris.
While I do worry a tad about that dubious March release date, seeing Cusack as Poe is something truly fascinating to think about. Come on, outside of BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, Cusack usually plays himself, or a variation of himself. I can’t wait to see his take on not just a real character, but a real life one as well. I just wish it was released next month instead of next year!
