Hex for Lexi?

Not too long ago I told you how the JONAH HEX adaptation was in need of a new director. Soon after that we pointed you towards an interview where current star Josh Brolin talked a bit about the project. Now the studios main concern here is to score up a director asap so they can keep Brolin attached… and it seems they’re pretty close!

Latino Review dropped word today that PUNISHER: WAR ZONE director Lexi Alexander may be up to the task. If the media for WAR ZONE is any indication, it looks like Alexander knows how to handle badass comic adaptations. Of course time will tell but I’m sensing good things here. Mind you this is far from a done deal, actually Alexander goes on to state how there are several other directors up for the gig.

Alexander (above) also states how she’d make some changes to the script penned by HEX’s former directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. And her main reason for even being interested in HEX? Josh Brolin. Well that should get anyone interested I’d hope. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one with the hope that word will break soon on who’ll be stepping behind the camera to bring us the supernatural cowboy.
