Hideo Nakata (pictured above with Naomi Watts), the chap behind the original RINGU has boarded the INCITE MILL, a psychological thriller which he’ll direct in his native Japan. This after he finishes post-production on CHATROOM, his second English-language effort after the atrocious RING TWO.
INCITE MILL tells a “Big Brother”-ish tale of 10 people who hire on for a “job” paying $1,200 per hour, only to find themselves locked in an underground complex and forced to play a murder game for seven days.
Nakata is also attached to VOICE FROM THE STONE, a supernatural tale about a child psychologist. The director is supposed to begin shooting INCITE in March, with a Fall release planned.
