High School Musical 4

JoBloJoBlo

You could be forgiven for thinking no self-respecting human being grew up wanting to make four movies about high-school kids whose existence revolves around singing and dancing. But money talks louder than ambition, and thus we’re on the verge of having HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 4. For those of you worried it might just be a regurgitation of the previous three movies, fret not: “We have learned that just putting a number next to a title is a very old idea… We have to have a new story,” Disney Channel president Rich Ross said. Which, let’s face it, is a relief. I could take three identical movies, but I think four would be one too many. Still, I know exactly what you’re dying to know: what of Troy and Gabriella?? Will they be back?? Do the candles in their hearts still burn for each other?? Unfortunately, Ross says while he hopes so, probably not.

So far, the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL films have launched the careers of Zac Efron (SEVENTEEN), Vanessa Hudgens (WILL) and Ashley Tisdale. And to the rejoice of Atheists everywhere, have shattered cable TV records.
