Based on the recent remake, and the remake’s sequel, THE BEGINNING tells the story of the original families who refused to leave their small New Mexico town once the U.S. government began above-ground atomic testing. Spanning multiple generations, this dark tale reveals how these once good people slowly devolved into murderous mutants.
Nice! From the sounds of it, this really will be a beginning’s tale, unlike the other BEGINNING, which played more like a remake than anything else. Written and drawn by comic veterns Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, this beast is lookin’ mighty slick thus far, and if THE AFTERMATH was any indication of how hard this one’s gonna rock… well, then it’s gonna rock pretty damn hard!
