We received word today on a couple videos that have been put together showing the actual origins of HITMAN’s Number 47. The man is ruthless, suave, sophisticated, just a badass character all around. The videos are in preparation for the film and you can check them out by clicking the links below.
If your a fan of the games, or your looking forward to the movie, I highly suggest checking them out. They’re done in a comic book-flash type of way, which is pretty sweet. Episode 3 will be coming soon, sometime before the movie I’m assuming, so we’ll keep a lookout for that.
HITMAN is directed by Xavier Gens and written by Skip Woods. It stars Dougray Scott, Olga Kurylenko (below), Robert Knepper, Ulrich Thomsen, Michael Offei, Henry Ian Cusick, and Timothy Olyphant as Number 47. I’m really interested to see how Gens and Olyphant do.
The synopsis for HITMAN is: Agent 47 (Olyphant) has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name. The hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian military chase the HITMAN across Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who set him up and why they’re trying to take him out of the game. But the greatest threat to 47’s survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl…
It hit’s theaters in less than a week, Wednesday November 21.
