Featuring the Sanderson sisters all decked out for their fabled return, the Hocus Pocus 2 poster promises dark tidings for the Disney+ sequel casting a spell on September 30, 2022. Premiering on Disney+ for the platform’s Hallowstream celebration, Hocus Pocus 2 stars Bette Midler (BeachesThe First Wives Club), Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the CityThe Family Stone), and Kathy Najimy (Sister Act) as three witches hellbent on bringing the town of Salem to its knees.

“It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge,” says the official Disney+ press release. “Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”

Hocus Pocus 2 also stars Sam Richardson (The Tomorrow War), Doug Jones (The Shape of Water), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Belissa Escobedo (American Horror Stories), Lilia Buckingham (Dirt), Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf), with Tony Hale (Veep) and Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso). Anne Fletcher (DumplinThe Proposal) directs Hocus Pocus 2. Lynn Harris (King RichardThe Shallows) produces, with Ralph Winter (Hocus PocusX-Men franchise), David Kirschner (Hocus PocusChucky), and Adam Shankman (DisenchantedHairspray) serving as executive producers.
