Holy pudding! Check out Joe Wright’s 3D vision for Pan in this featurette!

Joe Wright‘s PAN offers a new take on the classic story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland. There, he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny – to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan. As with most films these days, PAN will see a 3D release, but the filmmakers are here to tell you why it’s going to be worth your while in this new featurette.

As much as I appreciate Joe Wright‘s (HANNA, ATONEMENT) material, I’m still up in the air about PAN. This is actually the first video I’ve seen that makes it sound like they’re trying to skew this a bit more towards children than general audiences. Not that children’s films can’t be entertaining for adults, but it almost seems like pre-emptive ass-covering. Here’s hoping that’s not the case when this flick opens next month!

PAN hits theaters on October 9, 2015.
