About a week ago we caught the Official Website and trailer for Morgan J. Freeman’s HOMECOMING (check those out HERE), and today we have the brand new poster for you to feast your eyes on.
Heavily featuring star (and complete psychopath) Mischa Barton (doing her best Shannon Doherty impression with blonde hair) and on-screen nemesis Jessica Stroup, the poster works on what it’s trying to do, but is it me, or is this thing ridiculously busy? I mean, there’s just so much going on… .
Not to mention the floating heads… how I effing hate floating heads. And what’s worse is that this poster features not one, but two floating heads! Yeesh!
If it were me, I’d have just kept the photostrip in the middle with her crazy markings, and taken out the floating heads completely… but what the hell do I know anyway, right?
Officially, HOMECOMING goes like this:
Mike (Long) is a small-town star athlete who is the first in his family to attend college, receiving a football scholarship to prestigious Northwestern University. When he returns home over Christmas break to the people he left behind – his family and friends – they are all surprised to see him with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth (Stroup), a pretty rich girl from Chicago. No one is more shocked than Mike’s homecoming queen ex-girlfriend, Shelby (Barton), who immediately wants to be rid of Elizabeth and plots to take care of the problem. The story then takes many twists and turns as Shelby does everything it takes to get Mike back.
