Hopkins in Wolf Man?

MTV Movie Blog had a chance to chat it up with Benecio Del Toro yesterday, giving us horror geeks a little something to chew on: he dropped a bomb as to whether Anthony Hopkins will be joining him in the cast for his upcoming THE WOLF MAN project. That’s right, Anthony Hopkins!

While he stresses the final deal hasn’t been made, when asked about whether Hopkins would be starring alongside his scruffy mug, Del Toro replied I think so. Yeah, baby!

I know what you’re thinking. With Del Toro already there, who needs a big name like Hopkins in the flick as well? Why the f*ck not? Now the big question is, what will be his role? Would he be an old and aging Wolf Man, or would he be the police chief trying to hunt the Wolf Man down before he kills again? Either way, I’m stoked!
